How Shall We Address the Word Negro?

The word “negro,” represents an archaic shadow of old past terminology, used for the racists subjugation of our people to support the premise of imperialism. As a people, we have evolved to a state of self determination. The origin of the term “Negro” is Latin for the color “black.” While this color reference was used as a racial representation for African people, the origin of the term Caucasoid- represented the racial origins of people from the Caucus Mountains and Mongoloid- referred to those peoples, whose racial origins were from Mongolia… These racist classifications are dated by more than 100 years LOL! Surely we have advanced in our own self determination to move beyond the past morays and racist classifications of the U.S., to move in the spirit of Kujichagulia, and with respect to Honorable Marcus Garvey (Triumphant,) when he refers to “Africa for Africans!”
The diasporas of Afrikans on this planet, as well as the continent of Afrika, encompasses many countries whose peoples align themselves as one nation. As I research the history of Honorable Marcus Garvey, I find that it was his life’s work to promote the unification of the Afrikan Diaspora. I know that we can always debate the origin of the word “Africa or Afrika”… Yet Afrika has been -and is still, considered to be the only universal term for the racial origin of the original “human” (Hue-Man).

Our sensitivities over title and ethnic affiliations, are ultimately a reflection of each of our own internal conflicts and turmoil due to our treatment from the Maafa, -how our diverse nations, ethnicities and origins were all lumped together by complexion only, without regard to our unique diversities. We were bred together, like stock animals for specific results. We are all suffering from inherited and direct injuries, of unwarranted rebuke, assault, and disenfranchisement from the MAAFA that still remain.

The greatest assault, or sin that we endure, of all other transgressions, is a lie. One lie can kill, steal and destroy everything that is in its proximity. Lies are like a toxic gas that you can’t see, smell or taste. Yet, you know it is there, you can see it's effects, in yourself and everyone around you... We have been under attack and besieged by so many false truths and contrivances, that bombards and attacks our self image, self esteem, and moral fortitude. From the very "his-"story books that we feed an alien program to and, in the alien institutions, we cause our children to master and drill these lies into their psychic, down to the mass media that follows us everywhere.

My question is- Then, how shall we define ourselves!? If Africa is not considered the racial and national origin of all our ancestors of melaninated people, then what time and place can we be united at and in connection to?
