Black Elves and Leprechauns- Bes All Over The World

Black Elves and Leprakans-  Bes all over the world

Zwarte Piet/ Pieten(Black Pete) is a character who has deep roots in traditional Dutch and Netherlands folklore. He appears in The Netherlands as a Spanish Moor (common to southern Holland in the 1500s), in caricature, as a Black man, with gold earrings and colorful period costumes of a Spanish Moor.

The story goes that Zwarte Piet chose to work with Saint Nicholas as his engineer and magical accompaniment. Since the 18th century in Holland, he has been depicted as a companion to Saint Nicholas in all of his holiday travels. Zwarte Pieten is today commonly depicted as a black person in the colorful pantaloons, feathered cap and ruffles of a Renaissance Moor, This character and tradition was later recorded in a children's book published in 1850. Zwarte Pieten is often portrayed as a mischievous but rarely mean-spirited character, the character is believed to have been derived from Bes the spirit pagan after his traditions. Nowadays, Zwarte Pieten has become a much more respected assistant of Saint Nicholas, often humorous, self-determined, magical and playful.

Wikipedia:
Zwarte Piet (pronounced ['zʋɑrtə pit], "Black Pete") is the companion of Saint Nicholas (DutchSinterklaas from which the American figure of Santa Claus is derived) in the folklore of the Low Countries. In its modern form, the character is commonly depicted as a blackamoor, with blackface make-up, and dressed in stylized colourful Renaissance attire, akin to Maures in European heraldry, and similar to Moorish characters in the "Moors and Christians" Iberian folk festivals commemorating the Reconquista.

History of The Moors

The History of the Moors in Europe goes back to a successful harmony of civilization, and goverment for more than 1000 years.

The Moors were a nomadic people from North Africa; originally they were the inhabitants of Mauretania. They invaded and conquered Europe, taking their Islamic religion and culture with them. In the year 711, they overran the Visigoths.

Black Europeans were actually still in existence, living as Original peoples, up to their discovery by Nazis, who gave them the choice of sterilization or incarceration in a death camp.

Black Pete was a free man who chose to engineer the work for SinterKlass. He had the upper hand over his counterpart and was the essential agent in the success of this operation for children all over the world.

Yet the perpetuation of the depiction of servitude, (which reinforces the idea that Black people should be always in that role,) together with the horrible history and tradition of blackface in the US, means that it is time to revisit some of the old traditions and change them. It does matter that the tradition of blackface was most prominent and therefore most hurtful in the United States. But as with all things, we must find the balance between honoring what is important and adapting to the needs to respect the human dignity of all. If we wish to remember or honor the tradition of "Black Pete", then let him be portrayed by willing black actors/celebrants and as the willing friend of Sinterklaas that he is, and not a comic figure, slave or buffoon. I know that he has been portrayed by Dutch for countless generations in blackface, as a celebration for children, of a long-forgotten historical person, most likely a Moor. However, the time for blackface anywhere has come to an end.

Currently, the media is presenting articles about the many Black people who are protesting the public displays of Zwarte Piet by Dutch people wearing "blackface" and Moorish styled costumes. So now the Dutch, meet Globalization –We now exist in a global world and that means we have to expand our knowledge about other cultures and peoples that make up diverse societies. The festival of Black Pete does, appear to be the glaring elephant in the room in the face of the invasion of South Africa by the Dutch!.. I now reflect back as a child living in Germany, people were so fascinated by us when they saw us at public Shopping districts. They would sometimes approach me and touch my skin… Seeing us must have brought back childhood memories of Black Pete. Understanding that the depiction of Moors and Moorish people in Europe has been slanted as one of servitude, now there are more Black citizens in Europe that live as equals and in authority, all over Europe.

Ancient Origins of Leprechauns

As we advance to the New Year, and the new season of spring, let us not forget our original Ancestors. The March Vernal Equinox reigns in the spring. We celebrate Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday before spring fasting. We acknowledge Bes the Le-Pr Ra Khan- Black people of the forests and St. Patrick- wearing the regalia of "Ptah" Driving out the Uraeus snake hat and snake Headed people, and Easter in the West- celebrated on the first Sunday following the full moon after the vernal equinox on March 21. These are Agricultural references for an Agrarian society to request an abundant growing season and harvest. Black people have lived all over the planet. Their lives in the north are often reflected in the titles of elves the dwarfs, leprechauns, trolls, and faeries stories.

Indigo People of African Descent are the original "Snake Headed" people of Ireland- We the ones who were driven off and/or slaughtered, in the name of a Catholic "saint" who ironically adorned with the symbols of Ptah. Our Black Ancestors knew about the powers of all of the indigenous Herbs like Clover and Thistle. This shines a new reference on the real "Europeans"

who was St. Patrick? Why would a man be canonized (declared to be a saint) just because he supposedly got rid of all the snakes in Ireland? Well here is another version.

The Twa/Koi San are a pygmy (small people) that have a history that pre-dates the timeline history of Adam and Eve by almost 16500 years. The Twa journeyed to Europe, and Northern Ireland prior to the influence of the Roman Catholic Church and had a cultural, technological, and philosophical impact on Europe. Their influence influenced the Druid and Norse spiritual systems. One of the cultural influences of the Druids/Twa, was in their headdress, and their hair, who many grew into locs that looked like snakes. They wore a fez or head covering that depicted the Kemet symbols known is a Uraeus or cobra raised to strike, which is the same snake image you see worn by the Kings and Queens in ancient Kemet (Egypt).

The Roman Catholic Church misinterpreted the practices of the Druids, and decided to convert them to their religion. If they couldn't, they would remove their beliefs and symbols, along with the Twa people who were still present in Northern Ireland at that time.  So ST PATRICK was given an order to set up Roman Catholic Churches all over Northern Ireland, and in the process, convert or remove the Druid and Twa influences. Ol Patrick killed countless numbers of Druids and the Twa people, in the name of Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
So when you hear people tell you that he was made a saint because he removed the snakes from Northern Ireland, it's really referring to the Uraeus or lock headed people of the Druids and; the Twa. So the leprechaun represents the short Black men that were murdered all in the name of Christian religion.

Aside from cobbling, leprechauns are tied to the idea of luck, shamrocks, and four-leaf clovers. Their miserly wealth, good fortune, and antics make leprechauns an enduring Irish legend known the world over.
